Historically, most homeowners list their homes in the spring and summer months. But you shouldn’t wait to list your home! In fact, the payoff may be large this winter.

Less Competition

On average, there are fewer homes listed during the winter than any other season of the year. This means you have fewer homeowners to compete with! You home will stand out amongst other homes better than any other season and you’ll receive more inquiries about your property.

Flexible Schedules

With the holidays come time off from work. Don’t think that people won’t use their vacation time to buy a house, because it’s the perfect season. A flexible schedule allows buyers to both explore the internet looking at houses AND go see homes in person.

Serious Buyers

Those who are searching for homes during the winter season are ready to find a home as soon as possible. They could be at home staying warm during the cold winter days but instead they are out hopping from home to home. Serious buyers equal serious offers which can lead to a quicker sale!

What says “Happy Holidays” better than a brand new home? Nothing. So put your house on the market today!
